The Valley School has been granted permission to develop a new Special Education Needs (SEN) complex, which will allow an increased footprint, enabling a higher intake of students.
As well as delivering a first-class education, the school will also have new dedicated areas to explore subjects such as Art, Science, IT, Vocational Food, Sports, and Workshop skills. All within a safe environment that offers extra support to the students that attend.
Our role was to lead the BIM Coordination and Revit Modelling as part of the Services Design Team and implement the design into the 3D Environment. We also understood Clash Detection to ensure coordination between the services and architectural fabric met the special measures in place for the school.
Key tasks involved clash detection using Navisworks, working in Revit and AutoCAD producing construction drawings, and on-site coordination and discussions.
