CAT-A Refurbishment _ 21,370 sqm _ RIBA Stage 2-5_ Duration: 12 Months

One Portsoken is the largest design and build project in the UK as of September 2019. The brief was to upgrade the building infrastructure inline with both BREEAM and BCO design standards as well as increase the footprint of the building by an additional 40,000sqft by infilling the large existing atrium of the building.

We were was tasked with delivering the electrical design layout; lighting and cable tray management and riser coordination, to give a clean finish of exposed services as well as collaborating with the other building services and architectural design of the project.

Our main role was to also manage the BIM coordination and work with the Design Team to collaborate using BIM 360 and Revit.

Key tasks involved clash detection using Navisworks, working in Revit and AutoCAD producing construction drawings, and on-site coordination and discussions.
