44 PAUL STREET
CAT-A Refurbishment _ 4,775sqm _ RIBA Stage 0-7_ Duration: 12 Weeks
We were appointed as Architectural Designer on the project to develop and manage the refurbishment to CAT 'A’. We produced and delivered the architectural drawings including a day 'l' 2' and '3' scenario for the client and max packing options for the potential CAT 'B' fit out and developing this alongside the M&E team using 3D visuals.
The project included the exposure of brickwork to the interior elevations where applicable and exposing steel columns, renovation to the WC's and the introduction of exposed M&E services, co-ordinated with suspended lighting.
Through the design process, we developed the design to fit the space aesthetically but also to allow for minimal modifications to the potential CAT B fit outs.
The existing MEPH systems were completely replaced with new installation provide the desired environmental conditions to meet the latest energy efficient design. A redundant standby generator was removed from the roof as part of the project to free space for the new plant installation.
